The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget is a worldwide, biannual event showcasing the aeronautic and telecommunications industry. It is the largest air show and aerospace-industry exhibition event in the world, measured by number of exhibitors and size of exhibit space. Now in its 53rd year, the show drew a record number of exhibitors (2,453), from 49 countries. 140 aircraft were presented and 140 billion dollars’ worth of contracts were signed.
This was a valuable event Alatus could let pass by. Alatus met with many current customers and vendors, as well as made new contacts for future work. However, even more gratifying was seeing fully assembled aircraft comprised of parts produced at our Alatus facilities.
