The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget: Alatus Participates in the World’s Largest Aerospace Event

The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget is a worldwide, biannual event showcasing the aeronautic and telecommunications industry. It is the largest air show and aerospace-industry exhibition event in the world, measured by number of exhibitors and size of exhibit space. Now in its 53rd year, the show drew a record number of exhibitors (2,453), from 49 countries. 140 aircraft were presented and 140 billion dollars’ worth of contracts were signed.

This was a valuable event Alatus could let pass by. Alatus met with many current customers and vendors, as well as made new contacts for future work. However, even more gratifying was seeing fully assembled aircraft comprised of parts produced at our Alatus facilities.

  • The Boeing 767 strut on the nose landing gear is produced in Chatsworth.
  • The Gulfstream G280, G500, G600 and G650 are produced Walnut, Brea and Industry.
  • Production for the new Embraer 195 will begin this fall in Walnut.

The Paris Air Show was an invaluable experience for the Alatus team. We will continue building relationships, discussing industry trends and creating overall value for our customers by participating in future air shows like this one.
